Production of the Spiral Welded Steel Pipe

Nimka is producing spiral welded steel pipes according to the TS EN 10217-1 Standards from 219.1 mm (8") diameter till 1016 mm (40") and from 4 mm thickness till 12 mm thickness.

Exterior Diameter: 219 - 1016mm
Thickness: 4mm - 12.5 mm
Pipe Length: 6 - 8 -12 meter
Welding Style: Inside, Outside, Submerged Arc Welding

Turning

Pipe end correction and welding mouth opening are applied to the produced pipe






Hydrostatic Test

%100 Hydrostatic test with 70 bar are applied to the pipe end corrected and welding mouth opened pipes according to the 10217-1 standards





Inside and Outside Sanding

Before the coating inside and outside sanding process are applied to the pipe end corrected, welding mouth opened and hydrostatic test applied pipes according to the TS ISO 8501 standards

Inside and Outside PE Coating

 
     
PE Warm Coating

After the outside of the steel pipe have been sanded and lightning process have been applied powder epoxy will be applied and warm polyethylene will be coated
Coating standard: DIN 306670 TS AWWA C-215
  PE Cold Coating

At special cases were warm coating can not be applied the surface of the pipe will be cleaned, primer will be applied and the outside of the steel pipe will be coated with polyethylene

İç Bitüm Kaplama

Çelik boru iç yüzeyi kumlandıktan sonra bitümle kaplanır.
Kaplama Standardı: TS 4356, TS EN 10289, DİN 30673
 

Outside Bitumen Coating

After the outside of the steel pipe have been sanded it will be coated wit a double layer glass-fiber bitumen
Coating standards: TS 4356, TS EN 10289, DIN 30673

After the inside and outside of the steel pipe have been sanded it will be coated with a two layer epoxy
